Torbay E.M.O.T.E Specialist

We are excited to announce the launch of our new housing projects in Torbay, alongside which is an innovative Education, Meaningful Occupation, Training and Employment (E.M.O.T.E) programme helping young people find their next steps in their careers and education.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting our tenants who have previously lived in supported accommodation or the Care System as they transition to independent living.

 EMOTE Specialists help young people discover their skills and talents through real world work and educational placements in local colleges, businesses and industries. With support, the EMOTE specialists will engage with all types of local businesses, local educational establishments and other organisations to create many different types of placements from a couple of hours to multiple weeks to semi permanent volunteering. EMOTE specialists can also have the opportunity to create our own Social enterprises giving young people even more opportunity to engage in work experiences.

• Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
• £30,000 per annum
