About: 7 Habits

Stephen Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Teams, and Leaders remains a cornerstone of personal development, offering timeless principles for achieving success. This workshop combines Covey’s methodology with the vital element of Emotional Intelligence (EQ), equipping individuals, teams, and leaders with the tools to develop sustained high performance, positive behaviours, and emotionally intelligent leadership.

Emotional Intelligence is essential for effective leadership and client engagement. Key aspects of EQ include:

  1. Self-Awareness: Emotionally intelligent leaders are in tune with their emotions, understanding how these impact their thoughts and actions, leading to better decision-making.
  2. Self-Leadership: Leaders with high EQ manage their impulses and emotions, staying calm under pressure and navigating stressful situations more effectively.
  3. Social Awareness: Empathetic leaders can relate to the emotions of others, fostering stronger relationships and creating a supportive, collaborative work environment.
  4. Relationship Management: High EQ leaders excel at communication, conflict resolution, and inspiring others, navigating social complexities with ease.

Covey’s 7 Habits focus on moving from dependence to independence, mastering oneself, and then fostering interdependence with others. The final habit, Habit 7, promotes continuous improvement, creating a culture of growth both personally and within teams.
