Launching this month at YMCA Exeter is a brand new group for 18-25-year-olds. Grow for Good will be running for six weeks every Thursday starting on 5th June. It combines gardening, Low-Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques and personal growth to help manage difficult emotions, build confidence, and develop resilience.
Over the six weeks, the sessions will include:
1. Planting the seeds of change (CBT basics and Growth
Mindset)
2. Weathering the storm (Understanding thought traps and problem-solving skills)
3. Rooting Ourselves (Coping with anxiety and big emotions)
4. Cultivating Connections (Developing a support network)
You don’t need any gardening experience, so if you know anyone aged 18-25 who might benefit from this, please send them the link to register their interest.
