It is the YMCA team’s expectation that your room is left in a way that does not take a lot of staff time. Time will be taken if we need to clear out your belongings or rubbish, cleaning, painting, repairing broken YMCA items to make the room to the condition in which it was let to you ready for the next resident. To leave your room in an acceptable condition you will need to:-

Clean and empty your kitchen area – including clean cupboards, cooker and fridge
Leave your carpet in a clean and undamaged condition
All furniture and inventory stock that was put in the room is left in good condition when you leave
No damage to any fixtures or fittings
All personal belongings and rubbish removed
Wipe down walls and surfaces to remove dirt and marks

I will leave my room by 9am on or before the above date in a clean, empty state and understand that I will be charged for staff time at £10 an hour and costs to deal with any damage, storing left belongings and cleaning that I leave. We will make 3 attempts to contact you regarding items that have been left before disposing of the items.
