Our vision is to no longer see young people living on the streets, in tents or sofa-surfing.

We long for all our young people to know the promise of God in Isaiah 32 v 18:

“My people will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.”

This Lent, we are inviting you, your family, and your friends to spend one night sleeping anywhere but your bed!  This could be in a tent in your garden, under a blanket fort or even in the bathtub! Wherever you choose to sleep, you can raise money for YMCA Exeter’s work with young people who are experiencing/at risk of homelessness.

The best part about Sleep Easy is you really can do it anywhere! – “We slept in a horse box in our garden on a really cold, windy night – an important reminder of how difficult it must be to be homeless for any length of time.” – Sleep Easy participant 2022
