Local estate agents, Knight Frank is backing our annual fundraising night that will see local people sleep out for a night to raise funds and awareness about youth homelessness.

The team at Knight Frank will be raising sponsorship money to help the sleep-out go with a swing on Saturday 9th March.

The fundraising night is part of the national YMCA Sleep Easy Week that will see supporters from local YMCAs across the country sleep out for the night and raise money for YMCA services between 8 and 15 March.

The YMCA Exeter event will run from 7pm on Saturday 9th March and dozens of individuals have already signed up to take part. Last year we raised over £30,000 through the fundraiser in support of young people who want to break out of homelessness.

Mark Proctor, Partner and Office Head at Knight Frank, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting YMCA Exeter’s Sleep Easy this year.

We know just how important it is to support homeless young people and believe that one night really can make a difference to YMCA’s residents and clients today and into the future.

We would encourage all local people to sign up and take part. YMCA is such an important part of our local community and by raising money we can help it support even more young people over the coming years.”

Gareth Sorsby, Joint CEO of YMCA Exeter, said: “It is fantastic to have Knight Frank on board with our Sleep Easy this year.

Their support will be invaluable in helping us to make this year’s event even better than ever.

We’re now calling on participants to sign up for the big night. You will not only be part of our local event but also join hundreds of supporters all over the country for the national YMCA Sleep Easy Week. Together we can make a huge difference for young people.

Supporters who sign up to Sleep Easy are asked to pay an entry fee of £10 and raise £250 in sponsorship.
