A message from our Joint CEOs, Gareth Sorsby and Si Johns:

Under recent government guidelines we are doing all we can to assist in the reduction of Covid-19 virus spread, by reducing our physical community interaction spaces and replacing these with virtual social spaces for our young people to continue to connect with us and each other. This means our services including Youth clubs, Community Connecting and our Mental wellbeing services will be delivered online or using mobile technology just as frequently as they were in person.

In our Supported Accommodation our Support teams continue as ever to give clear advice and reassurance to our residents whilst implementing increased protective cleaning arrangements across the buildings, particularly in those buildings that are home to a large number of young people. Those young people with health conditions that might make them more vulnerable are being monitored and regularly communicated with to give us the ability to detect any changes at the earliest possible opportunity.

If you are trying to access any of our services, please do call or message us and we will connect you in with the relevant service and staff members.

You can call our main number on 01392 410530, message us through Instagram, Facebook and Twitter (using @YMCAExeter) or email us on office@ymcaexeter.org.uk.

During this time, we encourage you to also limit face to face meetings and instead consider how you can connect with friends, family, professionals and your community in more digital ways more frequently.
